A 2012 Gallup Poll found that a staggering 87% of employees are either ‘not engaged’ or are ‘actively disengaged’ at work. They’re making a ‘dying’ instead of a ‘living’ in their jobs.
I firmly believe that the solution to this problem lies in radically rebalancing profit with a higher purpose. It’s the most powerful pathway to transforming cultures and retaining and attracting the best and brightest people.
It’s why I am now regularly invited to address leaders in boardrooms and at conferences on the topic of Profit on Purpose.
Additionally our current educational institutions do not equip us with the human skills required to handle the volatile and uncertain world we live in. We need radical new ways of learning to develop our emotional and spiritual capabilities and the resilience required to navigate today’s fast and furious business world.
Many of our current educational institutions are outdated and ill equipped to teach what humanity most needs to learn. We need a new way. That’s why I founded Slow School.
I invite you to join our community to discover what’s possible at one of our courses, dinners or events or to invite me in to meet with your leadership and Learning and Development teams. Here’s to a bright and prosperous future for us all.
