Slow Dinner – Grow Your Business Tree
About the event
Move beyond traditional models of sales, marketing, profit and loss. Your business is so much more than those things – it is a manifestation of your intentions, your passions and your offerings to the world. Your business is a vibrant living being in itself that needs you to nurture it into full blossom.
At this dinner Slow School Founder Carolyn Tate will teach us how to think of our businesses more organically, and surpass the inherent limitations of conventional business planning and hierarchically structured thinking. We’ll each plant the seeds for our own business tree, and explore where a nature-inspired outlook to business growth can take us.
Ticket price includes workshop participation and meal. If you have any dietary requirements, please contact us. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from the venue.
About the facilitator
Carolyn Tate is most passionate about the reformation of capitalism, business and marketing as a force for good in the world. That’s why in mid-2014 she decided to found The Slow School of Business. As an established author, speaker, educator, connector and community builder, Carolyn felt increasingly inspired to create something that’s desperately needed in today’s business sphere: a learning environment which unites the principles of mindfulness, connectedness, social enterprise and sound commercial practice.
A core tribe of co-visionaries who were just as keen as Carolyn was to turn this idea into reality, came together over subsequent months. Since then, they’ve co-created Slow School into a vibrant community of change-makers, and the momentum continues to build.
NB: Tickets to this dinner are non-refundable or transferable to other Slow School classes. You are however able to pass on your ticket to a colleague to attend in your absence.
